Naapp holds your shop's most valuable book — your customers and their measurements. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and how we keep it safe.
Last updated: 11 July 2026
Naapp is operated by [Legal entity name], [registered address], India ("Naapp", "we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use the Naapp app and this website.
1. Who the data belongs to
Naapp is a tool your shop uses to manage its own customers. The customer information you enter — names, phone numbers, measurements, order and design notes — belongs to your shop. You decide what to record and are responsible for having your customers' consent to store it. We only process this information to run the service for you.
2. What we collect
- Your shop account: shop name, your phone number, preferred language, and the type of shop (gents / ladies / both).
- Customer records you enter: customer names, phone numbers, gender, notes, and the measurements you save per garment.
- Orders & payments: order items, stages, delivery dates, prices, and payment entries (cash / UPI / card) you record.
- Design media: photos, voice notes and finger sketches you attach to an order.
- Basic technical data: the minimum needed to keep you logged in, sync your data, and keep the service secure.
We do not ask for or store payment-card details for your customers, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
3. How we use it
Only to provide Naapp: to save and sync your naap book, run your orders and payment ledger, send order updates you choose to send, back up your data, and provide support. We do not sell your data or your customers' data to anyone, ever.
4. Sign-in and OTP
You sign in with your phone number and a one-time password (OTP). We use a messaging provider to deliver that SMS. Your phone number is used to identify your shop and to secure your login.
5. Where your data is stored and how it's protected
Your data is stored in a secured cloud database hosted with our infrastructure provider [hosting region]. It is encrypted in transit. Every shop's data is isolated at the database level, so one shop can never see another's. Design photos and voice notes are kept in private storage that only your shop's login can open.
6. Who else touches your data (sub-processors)
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers strictly to run Naapp — a cloud database and storage host, and an SMS provider for login OTPs. They process data only on our instructions. When you send a WhatsApp order update, that message opens in your own WhatsApp and is sent by you, through WhatsApp, under their terms.
7. Your rights
In line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can access, correct, export or delete your data. You can edit or remove customer and order records inside the app at any time, and you can ask us to delete your entire shop account by emailing hello@naapp.in.
8. Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data for as long as your shop uses Naapp. If you close your account, we delete your shop's data within [retention window] days, except where we're required to keep certain records by law.
9. Children
Naapp is a business tool intended for shop owners and staff, and is not directed at children.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app. Continuing to use Naapp after a change means you accept the updated policy.
11. Contact us
Questions about your data, or want it deleted? Reach our grievance officer, [Name], at hello@naapp.in. We're a small team and we answer ourselves.
